Pugsley the Dog needs a home
Pugsley was rescued from horrible conditions. He was heartworm positive but has been treated. When he first came to us he was very skinny and untrusting is a major understatement. We worked with him to get weight back on him and get him healthy again. Then came lots of love and patients. He was hollow(see before picture), and anyone in rescue will tell you that is a dangerous situation to be in. He would just stare at you and was unpredictable. But the facility staff took great care in letting know it was going to be Ok and he could trust us. And eventually, he began to break out of his hollow shell. With time he has become such a wonderful dog. He loves to play and give kisses, and did I mention run. Man does he loves to run. I think hide and seek may be his favorite game.
Pugley is very big at around 80 lbs and very strong. He will require a strong hand as sometimes he plays too rough. We have not tested him with other dogs but have not noticed any aggression through the fence.

The standard adoption fee is $150, but it may vary depending on the situation and the animal. This includes vetting such as shots, spaying or neutering, microchipping, deworming, and heartworm testing if the animal is over six months of age.
Please note**** We are a volunteer organization. Adoption events are held every Saturday 10-2 at our facility located st 2049 Badin Rd. Most of our animals are in foster homes. Please contact the foster if you would like to meet one of our rescues.
